The Primauguet (D644) is a Georges Leygues-class anti-submarine frigate, in service with the French Navy from 1984 to 2019. Designed for anti-submarine warfare, it was also adapted to combat surface threats using optronic sensors.

Carrying the designation D644, it honors Hervé de Portzmoguer, a famous privateer of the King. Sponsored by the Communauté de communes du Pays d'Iroise, it was decommissioned in 2019 and prepared for dismantling in Brest, then moved to Landévennec. In 2024, it was used as a breakwater at the Lanvéoc-Poulmic Naval Academy.

Equipped with SIGMA 40 navigation systems, the frigate was equipped with Exocet missiles, a Crotale system, a 100mm cannon, anti-aircraft guns, machine guns, and torpedo catapults. It could carry two Westland Lynx helicopters.

The Primauguet's primary missions were ship escort, counterterrorism, counter-narcotics, and sea rescue. It participated in international military exercises and rescue operations, such as that of the Modern Express ro-ro in 2016.

The crew included various officers and specialists, each with specific roles to ensure the ship's smooth operation and the accomplishment of its missions.
