Poster SSN Duguay-Trouin
A digital drawing of the Duguay-Trouin French SSN inspired by its official tampion
The new generation of french SSN come from Naval Group's "Barracuda" program. The latest of the French nuclear submarines, they are intended to gradually replace the "Rubis", the design of which dates from the end of the 1970s.
About a hundred meters long for a mass of 4650 tonnes, they outclass their elders in every way. Quieter, more modern (in particular thanks to their optronic periscope), they are the first French submarines to have so-called "Croix de Saint André" diving planes. They are also very innovative in terms of weaponry: F21 torpedoes and new missiles impose French know-how.
This posters is inspired by the official tampion of the ship.
