61 meters long and 6.2 meters wide, these 1260 ton submarines can dive to more than 250 meters.
Armed with eight torpedo tubes, they carry a crew of 36 sailors
Four ships were built: the S-30 Tupi, the S-31 Tamoio, the S-32 Timbira and the S-33 Tapajo
