The Airbus A310 ZERO-G is an A310-304 type aircraft from the Airbus company fitted out as a scientific research laboratory, specially adapted for weightlessness.
It is used to perform parabolic flights reaching up to 22 seconds of weightlessness.
Operated by the company Novespace, a subsidiary of the National Center for Space Studies (CNES), this aircraft is based at Bordeaux Mérignac airport.
The Airbus A310 arrived in March 2015 as a replacement for an Airbus A300 Zero G. It made its first parabolic flight for scientific research on May 5, 2015.
The Former Airbus A300 ZERO-G was donated to Cologne / Bonn Airport where it now serves as a museum.
