Poster concorde (british airways)
A digital drawing of the famous supersonic plane "Concorde" (British Airways)
The Concorde is a supersonic airliner, the result of collaboration between the English and the French.
Designed in the 1960s, it made its first flight on March 2, 1969, for commercial service on January 21, 1976.
With a cruising speed greater than Mach 2, the plane could link Paris to New York in 3h30, carrying around a hundred passengers. It becomes by its extraordinary silhouette, and its technology, an aviation legend.
The tragedy of Gonesse, which saw the loss in July 2000 of one Concorde and its passengers, precipitated the end of the career of this machine, which bowed out in 2003.
Even today, the Concorde remains probably the most famous aircraft in the world, and continues to make all enthusiasts dream.
